I can't shake the feeling they're just collecting data for the sake of collecting data. It's a privacy concern.
Why does the police department need this now? What changed?
License plate scanners aren't worth these costs. The homeless people and druggies around here don't drive cars.
I'm for Flock cameras but only if they show real results by helping catch criminals. Proof matters before spending Huntington's money!
Show us the evidence it can be successful first. Other places are dropping it.
I don't believe Huntington needs to spy on their residents this badly with Flock cameras.
it's to much for an untested system
This whole thing stinks of privacy invasion.
Has HPD been ineffective at their job this whole time? What changed that they need to have this technology now? They need to explain theirself.
To expensive and it's an invasion of privacy. Not worth it Huntington
This will be misused. And what's worse is that it will be misued in ways that we won't even know. I'm firmly against it.
What a crock of shit. The entire city leaderhip behind this needs removed from office.
They want to watch every move we make? This ain't Communist Russia! This WILL be misused. It already has been elsewhere.
They don't listen to us at all. They're not going to listen when they sell the waste water system to WVAM either. Farrell is a fraud just out to line his own pockets.
We can't find the parks and rec or library but we have money to PAY to SELL videos of me in public. This could have been done without Flock with less backlash.
